Preparation

  1. On the lowest position of the oven, place a pizza stone or an upside down baking sheet on the rack. Preheat the oven to 250 ˚C (500 ˚F).
  2. Cut the dough in half. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough into two 20-cm (8-inch) round crusts. Sprinkle a little cornmeal on the hot pizza stone and the pizza peel (or place the dough on a sheet of parchment paper). Place one crust at a time on the pizza peel. Cover with the topping of your choice. Slide the pizza on the hot stone. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. If necessary, finish browning under the broiler.
