Parmesan Pita Chips

Ingredients
  • 6 plain or whole-wheat pita bread, each cut into 8 wedges
  • 75 ml (1/3 cup) olive oil
  • 250 ml (1 cup) finely grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
  • Pepper



Preparation
1.
With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2.
In a large bowl, drizzle the pita bread with the oil and toss. Sprinkle with the cheese and pepper. Toss to coat.
3.
Spread the pita bread, side-by-side, on the baking sheet. Bake for about 15 minutes or until the chips are golden brown, turning once while baking. Cool completely.

Tips

You can add the spices of your choice (curry, chili powder, cayenne pepper ...).
