Winter is coming; we can’t avoid it. All we can do is succumb to its frosty embrace, and find ways to warm both our body and soul. In our newest issue, we did our best to offer piping hot meal ideas, but sometimes, comfort food can appear in a cooler and sweeter incarnation. Hence our cover story on Black Forest cake. A mix of decadent chocolate, cool cream and tart cherries, it is a dessert choice that’ll surely help beat the winter blahs.
