Where can I get the RICARDO digital edition?

You can get the digital edition in the App Store or in iTunes. Once you install the free app, you can sign up for a free trial and buy an annual subscription or buy single issues.

How do app subscriptions work?

You’ll get immediate access to the first issue of the magazine once you subscribe via the app. To subscribe, simply download the free app first, then click on Subscribe; you will be asked to complete your transaction using your iTunes account. As each issue is published, it will be available for you to download, read and enjoy!

I am a print magazine subscriber; do I get the digital subscription included?

Yes, print subscribers will be able to access the digital edition very soon! We will email our print subscribers to announce when the service is ready early in 2016; to make sure we have your current email address, contact us at service@ricardocuisine.com or call us at 1-844-280-7301.

Can I transfer my print subscription to a digital subscription?

Your print subscription will soon include access to the digital copy as well. If, however, you prefer to stop your print edition altogether, simple contact us at service@ricardocuisine.com or call us at 1-844-280-7301 and we will take care of it for you.

I upgraded my tablet; how do I get my subscription back?

If you have an iPad subscription, you can restore your prior purchases in the latest version of the app by tapping the GEAR ICON at the top right corner in your Library. Then, tap the option to “Restore all purchases”.  If you previously purchased single issues, they can be downloaded again at no cost by simply following the same steps described above, then tap the Download button next to the purchased issues that you would like to view.

How does iTunes handle my subscriptions?

Payment for the app will be charged to your iTunes Account when you confirm your purchase. Your subscription will be automatically renewed unless the auto-renew option is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current subscription period. Subscriptions can be managed by the user and the auto-renewal feature can be turned off by going to your Account Settings after purchase. Subscriptions can’t be cancelled during active subscription period. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication.

How do I renew my app subscription?

Your app subscription will be automatically renewed and charged to your iTunes account credit card, as described when you signed up for it, unless you turn the auto-renewal feature off. You can easily turn auto-renewal off by going to your Account Settings.

Will the app store my previous issues in a library for me?

Yes, previous issues in your subscription or single issues that you have purchased will be stored in your library.

How do I update my customer information such as email address or credit card information?

This information should be updated in your iTunes account.

I purchased a subscription on my tablet but I can’t see any of the issues. What should I do?

As soon as you subscribe, you should receive the current issue. If RICARDO magazine does not appear as an icon on your iPad’s Newsstand App, we recommend that you tap the GEAR ICON at the top right corner in your Library. Then, tap the option to “Restore all purchases”.  If you previously purchased single issues, they can be downloaded again at no cost by simply following the same steps described above, then tap the Download button next to the purchased issues that you would like to view.

Who should I contact about a billing problem with my app subscription?

RICARDO magazine app subscriptions are managed through your account with iTunes/Apple, so Apple tracks the subscriptions and handles all billing enquiries and refunds directly. You can submit any iPad billing enquiries to Apple.com.

IS THE RICARDO MAGAZINE APP ALSO AVAILABLE FOR THE IPHONE, ANDROID, BLACKBERRY OR OTHER SMARTPHONES?

The RICARDO magazine app is only available for the iPad, as it has been optimized to fit its screen.

How can I give a gift subscription for the app edition?

You can give someone an iTunes gift card; they would then download the magazine app and use the gift card to buy a subscription.
