Stir-Fried Beef with Lemongrass

Preparation

  1. In a wok or large frying pan over high heat, sauté the broccoli in the sesame oil and 30 ml (2 tablespoons) vegetable oil, about 3 minutes. Add the peppers and onion and continue sautéeing until the vegetables are crisp-tender, about 4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a bowl and set aside.
  2. In the same wok over high heat, stir-fry the zest, garlic, ginger and lemongrass in the remaining oil for about 30 seconds. Add the beef and brown. Add the vinegar, soy and molasses. Bring to a boil and add the vegetables. Stir to combine. Adjust the seasoning. Delicious with rice noodles.

Garnish

  1. Place all the ingrédients in a nice plate. Serve as a dressing aside.
