Caramelized Onions

  1. In a skillet, caramelize the onions in the oil over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper. Add the broth and let reduce until almost dry. Add the mustard. Set aside.

Hot dogs

  1. In a bowl, place the bulgur and cover with boiling salted water. Cover and let soak for 10 minutes. Strain and cool.
  2. Preheat the grill, setting the burners to high. Oil the grill.
  3. In a bowl, combine the ground beef and bulgur. Season with salt and pepper. Shape 6 sausages about 15-cm (6-inch) long and lightly oil.
  4. Grill the meat for 3 to 4 minutes per side or until cooked through. Season with salt and pepper. Toast the bread.
  5. Spoon the caramelized onions into the bread. Place the beef sausage in the bread. Garnish with chili sauce and lettuce.
