1 can 19 oz (540 ml) black beans, rinsed and drained (open the can on both sides, clean and set aside)
2 tomatoes, each cut into 8 thin slices
8 slices bacon cooked until crisp, chopped
Salt and pepper
In a bowl, drizzle the avocado with the lime juice. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
In another bowl, toss the lettuce with a little dressing, to taste. Season with salt and pepper.
In a third bowl, combine the beans with some dressing, to taste. Season with salt and pepper.
For each serving, place the can in the centre of a plate. Place the following ingredients alternately to create separate layers: 1/4 of beans, 1/8 of lettuce, two tomato slices, 1/8 of the bacon, 1/8 of the lettuce, two tomato slices, 1/4 of the avocados, 1/8 the bacon. Press, and then remove the can. Serve immediately.
