  1. With the rack in the middle position, preheat oven’s broiler.
  2. In a large skillet, lightly brown the bacon.
  3. Place the potatoes in a 20-cm (8-inch) baking dish. Top with the bacon and cheese.
  4. Bake for 5 to 10 minutes or until the cheese has lightly browned. Season with pepper and served with a green salad.
