- 3 cups (750 ml) fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1 cup (250 ml) sugar
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) water
- In a saucepan, bring the cranberries, sugar, and water to a boil. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes or until the compote is syrupy. Let cool and refrigerate until completely chilled, about 30 minutes. Delicious in a Yule log, between cake layers or on ice cream.
