- 3/4 cup (180 ml) unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) vanilla extract
- 2 cups (500 ml) icing sugar

Preparation

- In a bowl, combine the butter and vanilla with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
- On low speed, gradually add the sugar and beat until the frosting is smooth and fluffy. Add some milk, if you find the frosting too thick.
