Vegan Lime and Black Pepper Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil
  • 1/2 cup (100 g) popcorn kernels
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 lime, zest finely grated

Preparation

  1. In a large pot over medium-high heat, heat half of the oil. Add the popcorn kernels and toss to coat in the oil. Cover. Over medium heat, pop the corn while shaking the pot regularly. The popcorn is ready when you no longer hear any kernels popping.
  2. Off the heat, add the remaining oil, nutritional yeast, pepper and lime zest. Season with salt and mix well. Transfer to a large bowl.
