- 6 tbsp (90 ml) Ruby or very young Tawny port wine (see note)
- 1 large orange zest, removed with a peeler
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) fresh orange juice
- Ice cubes
1. In a wine glass or a highball glass filled three-quarter with ice, add all the ingredients. Stir gently with a spoon.
2. Serve with Bacon, Date and Blue Cheese Cup.
If you can’t find Ruby port wine, select a Carácter or very young Tawny port wine for this cocktail. You don’t want to use a vintage or more than 10-year-old Tawny.
