Ingredients: 2 cups (300 g) unbleached all-purpose flour; 2 tsp baking powder; 2 eggs; ¼ cup (55 g) sugar; 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla; 1 ¾ cup (430 ml) milk

Preparation

- Butter the cooking vessel of a rice cooker.
- In a bowl, combine the flour and baking powder.
- In another bowl, whisk the eggs, sugar and vanilla with an electric mixer until tripled in volume, about 5 minutes. With the machine running on low speed, add the milk alternating with the dry ingredients. Mix until smooth. Pour the mixture into the rice cooker.
- Cover and select the
  Pilaf
  function (calculate about 25 to 30 minutes). Place a plate upside down over the cooking vessel. Turn the pancake out onto the plate while it is still hot.
