  1. Cut the cucumber in half lengthwise. Cut each piece diagonally into 1/4-inch (5 mm) thick long pieces.
  2. In a large bowl, stir the lime juice with the sugar until the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Add the vegetables and cilantro and toss to coat with the marinade. Season with salt. Let stand for 5 minutes.
  4. Serve with Barros Luco sandwiches.
