  1. Prepare a charcoal grill for medium heat or preheat a gas grill, setting the burners to medium. Place the sweet potatoes directly on the grill and cook for about 25 minutes, covered.
  2. The cooking time may vary depending on the size of the potatoes. To serve, make a small incision in the centre of each potato. Serve with butter and chives.
