Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer until the pears are translucent and the cooking juices is syrupy. Let cool.
  2. Serve at room temperature with soft cheeses (triple cream brie, for example).

Comment

  1. You know, I really wish recipes gave an estimate of time, instead of saying "until cooked" (or similar). What does that even mean? Is that 5 minutes? 20? 3 hours? I mean, really.
