Step 5 Bake one sheet at a time, unless you use a convection oven. For soft cookies, do not overbake them. Right out of the oven, the center of the cookies should still be very soft.

At first I thought it called for too much butter, so held back a bit. It turned out a wee bit crumbly. I added dried cherries and a few nuts. It tastes rich and satisfying.
Simple, really good chewy cookies. I topped them with a few roasted salted pumpkin seeds and small bits of dried tart cherries.
Added triple cinnamon amount with 1/2 cup of chocolate chips. Delicious!
So buttery good! It's an everyday cookie with a hint of Christmas.
Have been searching for a really oatmeal raisin cookie for ages. my husband loves them. I added a cup of raisins and made the cookies a little smaller - about 2 tablespoons. Baked for about 12 minutes. I have stored them with a piece of bread (another Ricardo tip) to keep them moist.
This is my family's new favourite oatmeal cookie recipe.
Doubled the cinnamon and added raisins. Heavenly! Thank you!!!
