To prepare crispy goat cheese, cut cheese slices and coat them in a batter made of eggs, flour and panko breadcrumbs. Cooking them in the air fryer provides an excellent way to avoid deep-frying in a lot of oil. The cheese will come out crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside. Serve it with a green salad and a sliver of balsamic honey vinaigrette.

For crispy goat cheese with a runny centre, we recommend using a ripened goat cheese. A log of unripened goat cheese will be creamy at the centre, but not runny.

Lining the air fryer basket with foil will help catch any cheese that leaks at is cooks and will make clean up much easier.
