1. McKiernan
“I love McKiernan, which is near my home by the Lachine Canal. It’s the perfect spot for a friendly brunch, accommodating groups both large and small. The dining area is stunning and the staff is always very kind. And their doughnuts made in-house are a must-try!”

2. Leméac
“This Montreal institution serves brunch on weekends. You'll find many morning staples, such as French toast, omelette and gravlax. My usual is their fresh fruit and white cheese plate. It’s a plus when I can enjoy it on their gorgeous terrasse.”

3. Jacquie et France
“This restaurant is a Verdun institution. It’s the type of spot where there’s something for everyone, whether it’s eggs with bacon, eggs Benedict or their festive breakfast plate during the holiday season. With its Magdalen Islands-inspired ambience and decor, it’s very one-of-a-kind.”

4. Pointe-Claire Deli
“It has that American diner vibe you see on TV. They make everything in house, including their back bacon. The menu is also a bit Tex-Mex inspired; I particularly enjoy their breakfast burrito.”
- Andréanne, Process Advisor
51 Donegani Avenue, Pointe-Claire
5. Péché matinal
“I adore the staff, the coffee is delicious and the chalkboard menu changes seasonally. My usual order is the Pain de Campagne French toast plate (cheddar cheese au gratin, shredded ham, sunny side up egg, salad, potatoes and maple syrup). The portions are generous, I can never finish my meal and the balance of sweet and savoury is just perfect. Their gravlax is exceptional, as well!”
- Éliane, Project Manager
337 Saint-Charles Street West, Longueuil
6. Café Chez Téta
“For a Lebanese brunch that’s a nice change of pace from the usual fare, I enjoy going to Téta in the Plateau. It’s very warm and welcoming, and I love their rose latte and manoucheh, a traditional flatbread.”
- Maude, Content and Creative Director
227 Rachel Street East, Montreal
7. Miami Deli
“This restaurant is open 24 hours with a diverse menu ranging from fast food classics to Greek dishes, by way of Chinese food. As for breakfast, it’s served all day. We stick to the classics, because the most spectacular part of this restaurant is the decor, inspired by the Miami fishing trips of the original owner. There are swordfish and sharks hanging from the ceiling, walls depicting tropical landscapes and, at the entrance, you are greeted by a huge aquarium filled with fish, which is always a hit with the kids. There are free coffee refills and the service is always fast.”
