You can make your own roasted bell peppers. For this recipe, place 3 whole bell peppers on the oiled grate of a barbecue preheated on high. Cook for 25 minutes or until charred, turning them over regularly. Place the bell peppers in an airtight container and let cool for 15 minutes. Remove and compost the skin and seeds. Cut 1 bell pepper into small dice for the patties and cut 2 bell peppers into wide strips to garnish the burgers.
