The meatballs can be cooked in an air fryer. Place the meatballs in the basket of the air fryer, evenly spaced out. Cook for 12 minutes at 350°F (180°C), stirring the meatballs halfway through.

The recipe can easily be doubled. Freeze the meatballs and sauce separately, then reheat the meatballs in the oven and the sauce in a small pot.
