Preparation

  1. With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Set the bagels on a cutting board and slice vertically into thin chips.
  3. In a bowl, combine the oil and the spices.
  4. Place the bagel slices on a baking sheet. Brush with spiced oil. Turn the slices over and brush again with oil. Season with salt. Bake until lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Let cool completely.
  5. Store in an airtight container.
  6. Serve with dips such as hummus or as an accompaniment to soup.
