Any leftover sweetened condensed milk can be frozen.

To decorate the cake, we use flaked coconut. Thicker than grated coconut, it gives the cake a softer and fluffier look. Flaked coconut is sold in bulk in health food stores. If you can’t find any, grated coconut will do.
