Sesame and Honey Shrimp

10 MIN
Ricardo's recipe: Sesame and Honey Shrimp

  1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, lightly brown the onion in the butter. Add the garlic, honey, lime juice and pepper flakes. Reduce until the mixture begins to caramelize.
  2. Add the shrimp and sesame seeds. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 3 minutes over high heat. Add the chives. Adjust the seasoning. Serve over rice.

  1. Used shrimp from shrimp farm in our small southern ON town. 4 friends got together for our first effort (had to poach & peel). We were all astounded at the results. So fresh tasting & delicious. Used local ‘summer blossom’ unpasteurized honey, 2 limes. Had 2 rices— balsamic & wild. Looking forward to doing it again.

  2. Simple to make & tasty

  3. Great recipe. Easy,tasty.

  4. delicious. I'd recommend pulling the shrimp tails off though before hand.
