last night i made these in the slow cooker, of course ribs on the bbq are better but for chinese restaurant style spareribs, these were delicious and easy to prepare! with rice and broccoli, it was a perfect weeknight super! and if you can't find mirin, i asked Ricardo on Facebook and you can make a homemade version of 1/3 cup of white corn syrup and 3 tablespoons of rice vinegar.
