- In a dish or large sealable plastic bag, combine all the ingredients. Add the fish and coat well with the marinade. Let marinate for 2 hours. Preheat the grill, setting the burners on high. Oil the grate.
- Reduce the heat to medium-high. Grill the fish for 2 to 3 minutes per side, depending on the thickness of the fillets. Serve with a green salad.
Since it is composed of the same ingredients as a margarita (tequila, lime juice ...), it has inspired the name of the marinade. Perfect also for marinating shrimp, chicken, or zucchini.
