Banana Flambé with Cinnamon

10 MIN

  1. In a large skillet, bring the sugar and water to a boil. Cook until it turns golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the bananas, butter, and vanilla and continue cooking, coating the bananas with the syrup until they caramelize.
  3. Add the rum and flambé, if desired. Add the cinnamon and nutmeg.
  4. Serve with vanilla ice cream.

  1. hi, I was just wondering if you have to use the rum in the bananas or is it needed??

  2. Omg!!! Delicious and easy to make !

  3. terrible! The sugar and water just made a crystallized mess in the pan, didn’t even bother to specify what heat to cook on. Don’t make this unless you want to waste a bunch of sugar
