Variation
You can gently fold frozen berries (raspberries, blueberries, etc..) into the batter, at the last moment, to prevent it from changing colour.

Very good recipe. Even though I used only 1 egg and 1/2 of the sugar and arrow root (for cornstarch), this saved the day. Easy to make and it was great!

It was really good merci pour cette recette J’ai remplacé tout simplement la farine tout usage par de la farine de coco et l’huile de canola par de l’huile d’arachide vraiment pas pour changer les recettes de ricardo mais simplement ar j’en avais pas a la maison bref ce fut de loin les meilleurs gaufres que j’ai eu l’occasion de goûter... thanks Ricks

Just a little comment about the translation: Step two "In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar for about 5 minutes or until they turn pale and form a ribbon." does not mention "and triples volume" as it does it French... ;) Small detail that makes all the difference!

The best waffle recipe....I have tried a few but this is by far the easiest and tastiest. I also do half and half with Robin Hoods Omega 3-Fibre and Tastes like White...always making 4 batches at a time....kid go through it so fast! Thanks Ricardo!

The most amazingly light flavorful waffles. My son is 2 and loves these waffles. Definitely a great recipe to try. I also substituted 1/2 cup of the all purpose flour with whole wheat flour. It added a great nutty flavor and they were still amazingly light. Love this recipe.
