- In a bowl, combine all of the marinade ingredients. Add the tofu in a single layer and gently toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours to allow the flavours to develop.
- On a large serving platter or four plates, arrange the tomatoes, tofu and tuna. Garnish with basil leaves. Drizzle with the marinade, to taste. Season with salt and pepper. If desired, serve with grilled bread, lightly oiled and rubbed with garlic.
