    • 3 cups (750 ml) fresh or frozen blueberries
    • 1/2 cup (125 ml) water
    • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) sugar, or to taste
    • 2 teaspoons (10 ml) lemon juice
  • Dumplings

    • 1 cup (250 ml) unbleached all-purpose flour
    • 3 tablespoons (45 ml) sugar
    • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) baking powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) salt
    • 1/2 cup (125 ml) milk (or soy or almond milk)
    • 1 egg, lightly beaten
    • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) unsalted butter, melted
  • Yogurt Topping

    • 1 cup (250 ml) 0% plain Greek yogurt
    • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) maple syrup
    • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract

Variation
You can also cook the dumplings in 500 ml (2 cups) of maple syrup instead of the blueberry sauce.
