    • 1/4 cup (60 ml) balsamic vinegar
    • 1/4 cup (60 ml) olive oil
    • 3/4 lb (375 g) various mushrooms, quartered (white button, shiitake, oyster mushrooms ...)
    • 1 large onion, thinly sliced 

    • 3/4 cup (180 ml) chicken broth, or water
    • 4 dried figs, diced

Pork skirt steak has been available for years in marinated versions, but it has arrived as plain steak in some supermarkets. Tender and juicy, this cut comes from the front shoulder of the pork.
