  1. In a large non-stick skillet, heat the honey with the butter for 2 to 3 minutes or until the honey caramelizes.
  2. Add the pears, ginger, and cinnamon. Continue cooking over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, for about 5 minutes or until the pears are tender and caramelized.
  3. Add the pecans and continue cooking for 1 to 2 minutes while stirring. Remove the ginger and place the pears in four small bowls. Top with a scoop of ice cream and the pecans.

Note

If you like spices, add a star anise and nutmeg, to taste, while cooking the pears.
