Slow Cooker Pork

  1. In a slow cooker, place the pork and cover with the salsa verde. Cover and cook on low for about 8 hours or until the meat is fork-tender.
  2. With two forks, shred the meat, taking care to remove the fat. Adjust the seasoning. Spoon the meat in a serving dish with a little of the cooking juices.

Tacos and Filling

  1. Place the meat in the centre of the table with the taco shells and toppings.


Jarred salsa verde is usually spicy. To appeal to children, we also tried the same recipe with a mixture of equal parts salsa verde and sweet red salsa.
