Fresh Mint Syrup
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) water
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) sugar
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) chopped fresh mint
- In a saucepan, bring the water and sugar to a boil. Stir until completely dissolved. Remove from the heat. Add the remaining ingredients and let steep for 10 minutes. Strain and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
Good to Know
You can also use this syrup in sparkling wine, a fresh smoothie or a soft drink to enhance its flavors. It will keep for two weeks in the refrigerator.
