  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup (125 ml) sour cream
  • 1/3 cup (75 ml) maple syrup
  • Softened butter, for cooking

• Caramelized Apples

  • 3 Empire apples (or another variety), each cut into 4 slices
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp (14 g) butter

• Topping

  • Maple syrup, to taste
  • Brunost cheese shavings (such as Queen Ski), to taste
