This marinade wastes no time: Yogurt and lemon juice get right to work tenderizing the chicken, while the garlic and spices add that irresistible aromatic flavour. And it all comes together in just an hour!



  1. Thread the chicken strips onto the skewers.
  2. In a dish or large sealable plastic bag, combine the remaining ingredients. Add the chicken skewers and coat well with the marinade. Cover the dish or seal the bag. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  3. Preheat the grill, setting the burners to high. Oil the grate.
  4. Grill the skewers for 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until the chicken is cooked through.


  1. Awesome flavour. I omitted the yogurt and broiled in the oven - moist and tasty!

  2. I added and extra garlic clove and a little turmeric and I used lime instead of lemon. Great on the barby.
