1. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients. This amount of dry rub will allow you to season two chickens. It keeps for six months in an airtight container.


  1. A great all-purpose BBQ rub. My preference is to leave out the salt as I found it tends to settle to the bottom.

  2. I think this was way too peppery, so next time I will use a couple of teaspoons of pepper instead of 3 tablespoons and also 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne, instead of a full teaspoon.
