Ingredients: 1 Earl Grey tea bag; 1 ½ tsp (7.5 ml) honey; ½ tsp (2.5 ml) vanilla or ¼ vanilla bean, split lengthwise and seeds scraped; ¾ cup (180 ml) boiling water; ⅓ cup (75 ml) milk or plant-based beverage

Ingredients

1 Earl Grey tea bag
1 ½ tsp (7.5 ml) honey
½ tsp (2.5 ml) vanilla or ¼ vanilla bean, split lengthwise and seeds scraped
¾ cup (180 ml) boiling water
⅓ cup (75 ml) milk or plant-based beverage

Preparation

Place the tea bag, honey and vanilla in a mug or glass. Add the boiling water and let steep for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a small pot, heat the milk and froth using a whisk or milk frother.
Remove the tea bag and vanilla bean, if using. Add the frothed milk. Serve immediately.

The London Fog can also be served cold over ice.

As decoration, you can use dried flower petals, such as cornflowers, which are found in loose leaf Earl Grey tea.
