Broccoli Salad with Creamy Tahini Dressing

Ingredients

• Dressing

  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) tahini
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) olive oil
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) water
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) lemon juice
  • 1 small garlic clove, chopped
  • 1/3 cup (10 g) mixed tender herbs (such as parsley, chives, basil), coarsely chopped

• Salad

  • 1 broccoli with stem, stem peeled, whole broccoli halved and thinly sliced (about 3/4 lb/340 g)
  • 3 celery stalks, thinly sliced
  • 2 avocados, ripe but firm, sliced into thin wedges
  • 2 tbsp roasted white sesame seeds
