    • 1/4 cup (60 ml) flax seeds
    • 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) breadcrumbs
    • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) dry mustard
    • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) paprika
    • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) freshly ground pepper

Delicious breading for chicken or pork cutlets and fish fillets.

Integrate ground flaxseed in your daily life

Start by adding 5 ml (1 teaspoon) per day gradually up to 30 ml (2 tablespoons). Sprinkle some over yogurt or fruit compote. Mix in a teaspoon to your juice or your morning smoothie. Add them to your hot or cold cereal. Add them to salads. Stir a little ground flaxseed in your breadcrumbs. Replace about 60 ml (1/4 cup) of flour by the same amount of ground flaxseed in your recipes for muffins, breads, pancakes, pies, cakes ... You can also buy whole grain bread containing ground flaxseed.
