  1. In a bowl, soften the ice cream with a wooden spoon. With your hands, break the cookie dough into small pieces and add to the ice cream. Freeze in an airtight container for about 2 hours.
  2. Serve in ice cream sundaes.
  3. If desired, garnish with whipped cream and serve with whole or crushed chocolate chip cookies.
