375 ml (1 1/2 cups), approximately



  1. In a skillet, caramelize the onion in the oil for about 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute. Set aside in an airtight container. Refrigerate for about 1 hour.
  2. Add the yogurt and mayonnaise and stir to combine. Adjust the seasoning. Refrigerate, if necessary.
  3. Serve with raw vegetables or chips.


  1. This was without a doubt the easiest and tastiest dip I have ever served. It was a complete hit and leftovers kept quite well
