Panko is Japanese breadcrumbs. It is made of dried breadcrumbs, finely grated rather than ground. It adds a lot more crunch than traditional breadcrumbs.
There are lots of parmesan crusted chicken recipes and most are pretty dull. This is delicious!
Very simple and very tasty! I used light sour cream when I made this recipe, but I think it would taste even better using regular sour cream, which I will do the next time I make this.
