  1. In a saucepan off the heat, combine cocoa powder and sugar. Add water and corn syrup and bring to a boil, stirring with a whisk. Simmer for 10 seconds.
  2. Remove from the heat and add chocolate. Stir until smooth. Pour into a container and let cool.
  3. This sauce can be served warm or cold over ice cream, waffles, pancakes and Chocolate Pavlova (see recipe).
  4. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
