If you have a mini slow cooker, you can halve the recipe.
The day before my party, I made a half recipe. Because I don't have a mini slow-cooker, I assembled it in a small pot, and cooked it in a 200F oven for 2 hours. I refrigerated the whole thing overnight. On the day of the party, I let it rest several hours at room temperature. Just before serving, I microwaved it on HIgh for 30 seconds. Absolutely delicious - the best dip I ever served. The half recipe makes an enormous amount - ended up freezing leftovers - will have to see how well they survive,
