- In a large skillet, bring the maple syrup to a boil and simmer until it begins to caramelize. Add the onion and cook for 1 minute or until the syrup is dark golden brown.
- Add the espresso and reduce until the glaze is slightly syrupy. Add the cooked bacon and coat well.
We love this glazed bacon in an egg sandwich made with our multi-grain bread (see recipe) or served alongside French toast and eggs for brunch.
