  1. Preheat the pressure cooker on the Sauté function for 2 minutes. Brown the meat in the oil on both sides. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside on a plate.
  2. In the pressure cooker, soften the vegetables. Add more oil, as needed. Add the remaining ingredients and return the meat to the pressure cooker.
  3. Cover and select the Soup function. Set the machine to cook for 25 minutes.
  4. Let the pressure release naturally (about 15 minutes). Once the pressure is released, remove the lid. Remove the beef. Shred the meat with a fork and return to the soup. Compost the bones. Adjust the seasoning.
