  1. In a large saucepan, soften the cabbage and garlic in the butter, stirring frequently for about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Add the wine, broth and thyme. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce the heat and simmer gently for about 30 minutes. Uncover and cook for about 15 minutes, stirring frequently until the liquid is almost completely evaporated. Add the vinegar and adjust the seasoning.
  2. Serve with Lemon and Garlic Pork Roast.

  1. Guys we don't need to have answers from you for every question here. The beauty of a food website is when other readers and cooks can exchange notes and help each other. So seriously why block us from other cooks' comments? Where are the comments!? I'm in the middle of this recipe and was considering adding a sliced apple. I could swear I read other people's take on this recipe and was looking forward to read them. Telling me to visit the "frequently asked questions section" is down right annoying!
