July 11 to 15, 2022: What to Cook This Week

Presented by

What’s on the menu this week? We’ve got a meal-sized pasta salad, a roasted veggie plate, and so much more. We promise, there is something for everyone in this selection!

This week’s menu was compiled based on the products featured in this week’s IGA Quebec flyer. How practical!

Monday: Quick Miso-Honey Salmon Bowl

This balanced and nourishing power bowl is the perfect combination of flavours and textures. With brown rice as its grain component and salmon for protein, and let’s not forget the bok choy, zucchini and avocado, it makes for a complete meal.

Tuesday: Pasta Salad with Green Vegetables and Barbecue Tofu

Pasta salad is often relegated to side dish status, but this recipe eats like a meal! Long pasta like spaghetti or fettuccine is loaded with veggies and barbecue-sauce-coated tofu. Topped with a refreshing dill dressing, it can be eaten cold (perfect on a hot day!) and will surely fill you up.

Wednesday: Green Mango and Spicy Beef Lettuce Wraps

Spicy beef is wrapped in a crisp lettuce leaf and topped with refreshing mango in this Asian-inspired recipe. Everyone will definitely enjoy building their own wrap.

Thursday: Roasted Vegetables with Sunflower Seeds, Quick Hummus and Feta

This colourful vegetarian dish is almost too pretty to eat! Beautiful roasted veggies like carrots, broccoli and sweet potato sit on a bed of creamy hummus and are topped with feta cheese and sunflower seeds.

Friday: Grilled Chicken with Tomato, Grilled Pepper and Olive Salad

This tasty summer dish comes with a spicy kick! With curry on the chicken and sumac in the salad, it’s a wonderful contrast in flavours. It’s definitely a unique spin on your usual grilled meat and salad combo.
