  1. In a large saucepan over medium heat, soften the shallots in 1/4 cup (55 g) of the butter. Add the broth, lemon juice and honey. Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes. Add the remaining butter and simmer until melted.
  2. Add the crab and simmer gently until warmed through. Coat the crab pieces with the broth.
  3. Serve in a large serving bowl or directly out of the pan.

  1. Not only was it a great way to cook crab, but the broth leftover we used to make a chowder the next day, We just added another two cups of broth, diced one potato into small pieces, one stalk of celery and 1 cup of frozen mixed seafood. added 1/2 pint of 10% cream at the end and voila! fed 4! Unbelievable.
